CSA is always accepting coaches for all of our age groups!
We rely on over 250 volunteer parents, grandparents, and other adult coaches each season to support the demand for our recreational program. Come join us! Discounts available for head coach's child.
Mandatory Pre-Season Coaches Meetings & Field Clinic with Director of Coaching Keith Wienke and/or North Assistant Director Meanu Kayea.
NORTH: Saturday, August 24, 10am-11am at Dave & Buster's CSA North Complex
SOUTH: Sunday, August 25, 1:30+2:30pm McAlpine Elementary School Fields This will include age group coaching clinics, equipment (game ball, cones, bibs), coach shirt and ID/lanyard pick up as well as a Q&A session.
CSA Rec Provides Lesson Plans: Director of Coaching Keith Wienke provides coaches with weekly lesson plans and guidance. Lesson plans include age-specific skills, training activities and drills for the entire season. CSA Staff is accessible throughout the season for questions and guidance.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer coach or joining our High School Internship Program please review the following requirements:
- It is mandatory that all CSA Coaches pass a background check through the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association and complete the required abuse prevention program.
- You must be able to coach approximately 9 weekly 1-hour practice sessions.
- You must be available to coach games on primarily Saturdays, with some Sundays.
- Coordinate team communication or designate a Team Parent at your first practice to handle game reminders and other CSA email updates in a timely manner.
- Once you receive your team roster you must ask for a Assistant Coach to help out with practices and games.
- Communicate any issues right away to Amy Cullipher [email protected] or Keith Wienke at [email protected]
- Follow CSA Code of Conduct Policy at all times.
